Pride Month: A Booklist

Pride in Canada has its roots in the LGBTQ2S+ community’s fight for equality and acceptance. In 1971, the “We Demand” rally in Ottawa marked the beginning of a powerful movement. Since then, Pride celebrations have grown in size and visibility, with cities like Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal hosting lively parades and festivals to honor LGBTQ2S+ achievements and promote inclusivity.
