Harry Potter at Home

J.K. Rowling and her publishers have created a new resource, Harry Potter at Home. This includes a bunch of features:

  • Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (Book #1) is free on Libby, Overdrive, and Audible for the month of April. You can borrow the book with no holds! Visit our collection to borrow it as an ebook or an audiobook.
  • Quizzes, art projects, and puzzles are available on the website.
  • Resources for teachers, including how to pronounce the many difficult names in Harry Potter when reading out loud. J.K. Rowling has also given special permission for educators to read out loud all seven of the Harry Potter books in virtual read-aloud sessions.

Harry Potter at Home will be updated with new activities regularly!
